Territory Business Centres are one-stop shops for more than 200 business and licensing services. They are the initial contact and referral point for starting a business, business and industry licence information, business planning assistance, and links to departmental assistance programs.

At a Territory Business Centre you can:

register a business name and conduct a business name search
access relevant licence and permit requirements for operating a business
download applications for a range of business and industry licences
lodge a selection of licence applications online
access information on business assistance services and products.

Territory Business Centres are also leading the way in government e-initiatives, with the introduction of SmartForms: interactive online documents that keep the look and feel of the original paper-based forms. The documents are more convenient as businesses can enter information directly into the form and save the form to their computer for later editing or recordkeeping purposes.

Territory Business Centres operate in Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek and are open for business from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
