Growing our Industries

The Territory is open for business.

In a time when much of the world is experiencing the effects of a recession, industries in the Northern Territory continue to expand and grow. New mines are opening thanks to joint ventures with Chinese and Japanese companies, mineral exploration activities are at an all time high, the pastoral sector is expanding and the live cattle trade is strong.

Construction in the Territory is also growing as major new infrastructure is built and new suburbs and regional developments come to life.
